Dear Parents/Guardians
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the Archdiocese of Toronto announced it would be accepting donations for humanitarian relief in response to the tragedy unfolding in Ukraine. Funds collected by the Archdiocese will be channeled to the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) and the Office for Refugees, Archdiocese of Toronto (ORAT).
As a Catholic faith community, the York Catholic District School Board will participate in helping to raise funds to support those impacted by the tragedy unfolding in Ukraine.
St. Raphael the Archangel school community will be supporting this fundraising initiative by holding a Loonie/Toonie Day on a day March 9, 2022. On this day, we ask our students and families to help support this initiative for those most impacted.
