Dear Parents/Guardians,
“Lent is a season of simplifying oneself and preparing for Easter. It is a time of prayer and reaching out to others and reflecting on what is truly important in our lives. Some of the prayers this month will focus on the Stations of the Cross. The saints days of St. Patrick (17th ) and St. Joseph (19th) offer opportunities for celebration and reflection. This year Lent begins on March 2nd and continues through March and the beginning of April. The Feast of the Annunciation is on March 25th. We look forward to Holy Week beginning April 10th, leading up to the Resurrection of our Lord on Easter, which takes place this year on April 17th.”
