The girls won the championship at their divisional tournament and will continue to represent SRA at the area tournament on April 4th at St Elizabeth. GO RAVEN GIRLS!

Knock Your Socks Off
On Thursday, March 21st, SRA participated in our fourth annual Knock Your Socks Off Day! Students and staff wore mismatched socks and donated a toonie in support of our friends living with Down Syndrome. We raised just over $2000.00 for the Down’s Syndrome Association. Thank you to all those who participated.
Hot Lunch Replacement Days
The following are new dates for lunches that have been canceled due to bus cancellations. We thank the CSC Hot Lunch committee for their ongoing support with the Board’s decision. BAG 2 SCHOOL
Our school community donated clothes, shoes, stuffed animals, etc., as part of #bag2school #GREENteam fundraising initiative. Students filled dozens of garbage bags and helped to load them into a truck. The truck weighed all of the items, which totaled 330 kg!
YEARBOOK CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to Juan (Gr.5) who entered into our Yearbook contest and won a free SRA 2018-2019 yearbook.

SRA’s ECO/GREEN TEAM
Our school will be taking part in National Sweater Day on Thursday, February 7th. National Sweater Day is an annual event organized by World Wildlife Fund Canada. On National Sweater Day, WWF asks Canadians to turn down thermostats by two degrees Celsius at home, at school and at work to highlight the role that energy conservation plays in preventing climate change.
