Friday, October 31st, our students will be celebrating Halloween with a school-wide dance! We kindly ask families to support our local food bank by donating non-perishable food items.
Costume Consideration:
- Costumes should be of simple design (to limit personal items being brought to school). When in doubt, think saint- encourage students to dress up as saints.
- Masks/Toy Weapons are not to be worn/brought to school, as they present a safety risk, and some masks may even be quite scary to the younger students.
- Think creatively and critically when choosing a costume, ensuring and honouring the dignity of each human person, and refrain from using costumes that represent a cultural group or ethnicity. Costumes are to be appropriate to the moral tone of our Catholic Schools.
- Food / Treats are not to be sent with your child to be distributed to classmates.
