Saint Andre Relic @ SRA

Students gathered in our gym to witness a first-class relic of St. Brother Andre. Father Peter  & Father Jamon (of the St. Joseph’s Oratory, in Montréal) presented the relic & paid homage to our Canadian Saint.  Father Jamon brought third-class relics for all Gr.5-8 students to take home.  Each student also received a special blessing with oils from  St. Joseph’s Oratory.  It was a true ... TakingITGlobal.org is celebrating 20 years since founding their youth organization, that aims to inspire, inform and involve youth, in local and global projects. Our school hosted an interactive day of Environmental Action, welcoming researchers from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland to a special edition of the SRA ‘Milk Mats’ Weaving Workshop.
